Philly Joel represents the vision of Dave Giorgio.
A successful business builder for 25 years, he got his start in music in clubs at 16, and by 18, was on the road touring the country in show bands.
This experience feeds his ability to put on an unparallelled show.
He also has multiple Gold records as a music producer.

Background
Dave Giorgio was an original alternative rock artist in the '90s (Papa Giorgio), but loved Billy Joel's The Stranger and 52nd St. albums before even becoming a musician. He developed as a multi-instrumentalist with a wide knowledge of music, growing up with Led Zep, Beatles, Rush, etc, but expanding in his teens to Jazz (thanks Chick Corea) and Classical (thanks Amadeus). After the road, he attended Temple U for Jazz performance, became a music producer earning multiple gold records, and continued with a wide range of gigs, shows, and events (about 5000 to date). Composing music early in his careeer, he expanded into music composition for film and TV. He also works on audio books for Penguin Random House with his own team of trained editors.

The Philly Joel band is comprised of the best-of-the best players Dave has worked with in the private party/wedding scene. These are all mature, responsible, and good people first and foremost. But listen to them play, and wow. It's easy to see why they were all the first choice for this band.

Philly Joel is based on the United States' east coast, Philadelphia area.
